H.E.L.P Course In Iran Sep. 2015

Second Health Emergencies in Large Population (HELP) course is hold at Tehran with collaboration of Iran Red Crescent Society, International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

The Course is based on public health subjects especially in complex emergencies like: epidemiology, water and sanitation, nutrition, Mental health and planning.

In the second course in Tehran  a top table exercise was added to the curriculum. The exercise was design for 4 hours and  two groups of Red and Blue worked on a earthquake scenario.

National Health Disaster Emergency Response Plan

Second edition of I.R.Iran National Health Disaster Emergency Response Plan is issued. This book is a function based EOP and include all functions of health sectors in disasters and emergencies. The book covers theses subjects:

  • General subtitles of a response plan like: Goal, Situation, Assumptions
  • Basic Roles of operation like: Incident Management system, warning levels
  • Health Sectors functions which includes Preparedness, Managerial and special functions

Managerial function includes functions the related to all sectors. Early Warning system, command, control, safety and security are some examples of managerial functions. On the other hand special functions are assigned to one of the units or offices of the health system. For example implementing surveillance system during an emergency is communicable disease control units’s special job. Another example is antheropomery which is nutritional unit’s special function.

Disaster Health Management and Risk Reduction workshop

7th National Disaster Health Management and Risk Reduction workshop was held in Tehran University of Medical Sciences. This Workshop is designed for health stuff to become familiar with all functions of Health in disasters and Emergencies.

The course includes six modules: 1-Preparedness 2- PreHospital & Hospital  emergency menagemet 3-Public Health emergency management 4- Complex Emergencies & Internal Displaced People 5- Recovery 6-Challenges in Emergency Preparedness

A simulation is added to the curriculum to engage the participants for practicing the   course educational subject.

PHTLS Workshop

A PHTLS workshop for EMS and Hospitals staff was held at Fasa University of Medical Sciences. In this 2 days workshop the participants practice critical thinking in approaching prehospital scenes for trauma patients according to the  standards of NAEMT

کارگاه برنامه پاسخ نظامت سلامت در بلایا در گرگانEOP

National Emergency Operation Plan (EOP) workshop was held in Gorgan  University of Medical Sciences by Disaster Risk Reduction Office of Ministry. In this workshop health staff and managers were trained how to develop local EOP. Lectures, Game and Group discussion methods were used for training in this workshop.

کارگاه برنامه عملیاتی پاسخ نظام سلامت برای پرنسل حوزه بهداشت و درمان دانشگاه علوم پزشکی گرگان برگزار گردید. در این کارگاه برنامه های نظام سلامت به پرسنل معرفی گردید. همچنین به شکل عملی شرکت کنندگان تدوین برنامه پاسخ را تمرین کردند. همچنین دبیران کمینه مدیریت بحران بیمارستان های شبکه بهداشت و درمان با سامانه فرمانده حادثه بیمارستانی و تدوین برنامه میدانی پاسخ به شکل کارگروهی و با سناریو محتمل منطقه آشنا شدند.

Hospital Disaster Planning Seminar سمینار برنامه ریزی مدیریت بحران در بیمارستان

Hospital disaster planning seminar was held for secretariat of Fars Province hospitals. In this seminar the available checklist for hospital accreditation, risk assessment and hazard identification were introduced to audiences.

سمینار برنامه ریزی مدیریت بحران برای نمایندگان بیمارستانی های استان فارس برگزار گردید. در این سمینار ضمن مرور مفاهیم اولیه، چک لیست های موجود وزرات خانه مثل اعتبار بخشی بیمارستانی ها، ارزیابی خطر، ارزیابی مخاطرات، بررسی ظرفیت و آمادگی بیمارستانی به شرکت کنندگان معرفی و در خصوص نحوه پر کردن فرم ها توضیحات لازم داده شد

از مسایل مطرح شده توسط شرکت کنندگان می توان به موارد زیر اشاره نمود

تعدد فرم ها و چک لیست های وزرات خانه

توجه ناکافی به بحث مدیریت بحران در بیمارستانی ها به نحوی که معمولا دبیران کمیته چند وظیفه دیگر هم با هم دارند

حمایت کم مدیران ارشد بیمارستانی ها و دانشگاه از بحث مدیریت بحران

کارگاه برنامه پاسخ گیلان EOP

EOP workshop was held in Gilan university of Medical Sciences and different part of Nation EOP were lectured and the participants tried two developed a primary draft of their own plan

کارگاه برنامه پاسخ به بلایا در حوزه معاونت بهداشت دانشگاه علوم پزشکی رشت با حضور مدیران شبکه های بهداشت و درمان و گروه های معاونت بهداشت دانشگاه برگزار گردید. در این کارگاه اجزاء مختلف برنامه ملی توضیح داده شد و شرگت کنندگان پیش نویس برنامه خود را به شکل عملی تهیه نمودند.

Top table Exercise in treatment deputy of SUMS

A top table exercise was held in treatment deputy of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences (SUMS).

Treatment deputy in SUMS has the role of monitoring and accreditation of all hospitals and clinics’ in its territory. There is a medical care monitoring center or MCMC that monitors the treatment cares in major hospitals. In this exercise MCMC is assigned for the center of early  warning system  and EOC for treatment deputy of SUMS. All offices in the treatment deputy talked about their role in a mentioned scenario .

مانور دور میزی ادارات و واحدهای معاونت درمان دانشگاه علوم پزشکی شیراز با سناریو فرضی زلزله در جنوب استان برگزار گردید. در این تمرین هر کدام از ادارات به بیان شرح وظایف خود پرداختند.
